Responsible for the administration and technical support of the campus Genetec video management system. This includes Systems Monitoring, User, Software and Device Administration, and Server Maintenance as required to support a healthy system. Must be comfortable with report creation, troubleshooting, and coordination of troubleshooting efforts with remote field resources, service ticket reporting and escalation.
Responsible for proper operations and management of Genetec Video Management System; 24×7×365 uptime. Triage and Troubleshoot Video platform and camera issues, including Software Issues, Alarm Events and Video, coordinating repairs with field techs as needed. Serve as Back-up system administrator for other PD IT servers and applications including WatchGuard Video, Spillman Flex, and Tableau. Provide end-user support and training for Security Desk operators. Performs other duties as assigned.
Three plus (3+) years of security/IT related work experience providing systems administration (not just user) and design support for enterprise Video Management Systems or the equivalent experience.
