The UCI Counseling Center is currently seeking two Postdoctoral Fellows. The individuals in these positions will receive clinical supervision necessary to accrue post-doctoral hours required for CA psychology licensure.
A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited academic program and an APA accredited internship program must be completed prior to the date of hire.
In this position the Postdoctoral Fellow will provide and/or participate in the following:
Individual, couples and group psychotherapy
Crisis intervention services and technological interventions.
Conduct intake assessments.
Participate in case disposition meetings.
Participate in Center committees.
Provide campus-based consultation and outreach
Design and deliver workshops to college students
Provide culturally relevant psychological services to diverse student population, including but not limited to students within the African American/Black student community and/or LGBTQ student community
The annual salary for the position is $50,000 and it includes full benefits. The UCI Counseling Center has a long history of providing psychological services to the UCI campus community.
