The Kleinhans Lab in the Department of Radiology is currently seeking a full-time Psychometrist 2 to provide gold-standard research-based diagnostic and psychological testing for our ongoing autism studies. Under general direction of the study PI, the Psychometrist will administer and score psychological tests; analyze test results; and adhere strictly to research study protocols and procedures. The Psychometrist contributes to the growth and success of the Department of Radiology by executing the mission and vision. Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.) •Administers, scores and analyzes psychological tests; evaluates behavior of individuals being tested. •Administers and assists with the evaluation of experimental tests; conducts literature searches to assist in determining suitable testing methods for grant submissions and manuscript preparations. •Prepares data to present at meetings, conferences, or for publication; assist in writing clinical and/or research reports and papers. •Establishes and coordinates testing schedule. •Instructs students, interns and other staff in function of testing lab and use of tests. •Assemble test data and calculate statistical summaries such as means, standard deviations, correlations, or analysis of variance; submit to supervisor for interpretation. •Attend meetings to discuss cases. •Direct the work of others. •Performs related duties as required. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS •A Master's Degree with major study in psychology or a closely related field with emphasis in tests and measurement. •OR A Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral or social science and two years of experience in psychological testing. •OR Two years of experience as a Psychometrist 1. •OR Equivalent education/experience. DESIRED REQUIREMENTS •At least one year of experience working with school-aged children with neurodevelopmental disorders. •Experience with conduction psychological tests with children under the age of 5. •Knowledge of typical child cognitive, social, and motor development.
