UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Nurse Manager on on our Mother/Baby Unit. This position is open to current UWMC experienced Registered Nurses. The Mother/Baby Assistant Nurse Manager will maintain situational awareness of the Maternal Infant Care department at T/patient flow meetings, leading Nursing huddles and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and patient flow. The individual should be a self-starter, able to manage patient and staff rounding and annual evaluation responsibilities. Our ideal candidate has an understanding of evidence-based practice and is an innovative problem solver who can run with a project.

REQUIREMENTS UWMC RN, BSN or enrolled in BSN program, at least two years of recent/current perinatal nursing experience, excellent communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills required. Leadership and charge nurse experience required.
