Job Summary:
This position will be performing technical and clerical duties. The technical components include monitoring and interpreting patients' cardiac rhythms and reporting life-treating arrhythmias to appropriate personnel while utilizing the chain of command. Telemetry monitor management includes admitting, discharging, transferring and the monitoring of alarms. Technician able to communicate using SBAR communication. Greets customers and ensures meeting of needs or referred to appropriate resources. Support best use of resources in management of equipment, supplies, and other department resources. Reports to the Manager and Director of the department.Qualifications: Medical terminology. Basic computer skills preferred. Knowledge of telemetry units and retrieving results from computer. Able to interpret normal and abnormal rhythms and recognize artifact. Must be able to speak, read and write English.
