Responsibilities Under general supervision, the Hospital Operations Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for analysis of complex business problems using data and reporting to provide insight to operational leaders. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Works with business and/ or clinical units to understand and prioritize data and information requirements. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required/ available data elements. Optimizes the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and index that add value to the user.
Bachelor's degree in related area and/ or equivalent experience/ training.
Applied acquired skills in Tableau and database management
Applied acquired analytical and communication skills.
Proficient in all applications of Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated advanced knowledge of Excel and Access
Applied acquired written and oral communication skills.
Ability to be a results oriented self-starter.
Ability to multi-task.
Knowledge of project management techniques to work effectively and meet deadlines.
Excellent customer service skills to understand and articulate diverse clients' needs and objectives; manage expectations; and deliver as promised and on time.
Work experience in healthcare
Special Requirements Must be able to work variable schedule as needed. This position may be subject to a criminal background investigation, drug screen, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation clearance, and functional capacity assessment.
