Assist the Director of Experiential Learning in carrying out the mission of the Center for Experiential Learning and Career Success (CELCS). Uses independent analysis and judgment to strategically cultivate long-term relationships and strengthen communication between students, alumni, employers, faculty, foundations, and other campus colleagues to create and develop experiential learning opportunities. Identifies and establishes new systems, policies and practices and enhances communication and visibility of the internship programs primarily for students in the School of Business.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Works with faculty in the School of Business, Career Services staff, and local businesses to create and enhance internship opportunities.
Counsels and prepares students for internships by establishing resources and scalable programming for internship preparation and the search process
Builds and develops new relationships, and maintains current relationships with community agencies, partners, and alumni that leads to internship opportunities locally, state-wide, nationally, and internationally for students.
Collaborates with the Director of Experiential Learning to establish frameworks and systems for collecting data to advance CELCS and the School of Business missions
Develops curriculum and serves as instructor for all the internship courses in the School of Business to ensure that the student internship experience is aligned with university’s curriculum guidelines.
Partners with Career Services staff on the development of career readiness programs.
Develops an intern training program and resources for employers to ensure that internships are aligned with the university internship guidelines.
Educates faculty and staff on key components of internship collaborations between Trinity University and key community partners.
Coordinates various events, activities, and fairs on topics related to internship other experiential learning opportunities.
Successfully represents the CELCS in the office, in the classroom, and in the community with a strong professional presence.
Develops policies and educates CELCS staff on relaying internship guidelines to employers, evaluating received internship opportunities, and assigning student workers to post positions in Handshake.
Assists with workflow for internship process for the A.L.E. program and for Accounting majors.
Assists in performing program administration and activities, including: preparing program budgets, and annual reports.
Cooperates and collaborates with other employees in the spirit of teamwork and collegiality and interact with confidence, patience and integrity to provide professional leadership during emergencies.
Complies with all Trinity University policies and guidelines
Performs other duties as required
