Job Summary: Serve as the program Director for the University Studies degree program. Develop, maintain, assess, and enhance programming and curriculum for post-traditional educational initiatives, such as the University Studies degree program, in order to serve and recruit post-traditional learners. Organize and engage a faculty steering committee to provide academic oversight for the University Studies degree program. Develop and teach academic courses. Develop and implement strategies and tactics to grow the enrollment in post-traditional educational initiatives and degree programs. Possible supervision of staff in the future. Essential Duties: Serve as the program Director for the University Studies degree program. Required Qualifications: Master’s degree. Ten (10) years of experience in higher education. Five (5) years of experience developing curriculum in a degree program or the equivalent experience. Experience teaching as a full-time faculty member (non-tenure track or tenure track). Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree. Seven (7) years of experience in higher education. Five (5) years of experience developing curriculum in a degree program. Experience teaching as a full-time faculty member (non-tenure track or tenure track). Two (2) years of experience supervising staff. Service on curriculum committees or other relevant academic governing bodies.
