It is surrounded by some of the nation’s most well known monuments, and Yellowstone National Park, Mt. Rushmore and Grand Teton National Park are all within a day’s drive of the city. While Cheyenne embodies the spirit of the Old West with cowboys and buffaloes, it is also a vibrant city brimming with arts, culture and outdoor activities.
The Post-Graduate Year One (PGY-1) Pharmacy Residency Program at Cheyenne Regional is a 12-month program that builds on the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education. Residents complete 13 required learning experiences and two electives with the goal of developing as well-rounded clinical pharmacists able to assume responsibility for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions. The program allows flexibility to meet the needs and interests of the individual resident.
