We're looking for a Website Project Manager to join our Communications and Marketing team to help support operations for our public website. This job reports to the Associate Director of Web Strategy. The Web Project Manager role partners with stakeholders and IT's engineering team to define business goals and website needs. This role also oversees design and UX efforts, manages stakeholder communications at all levels within the organization, and builds website development sprints.
We're looking for an experienced web development project manager who understands our business and website, creates smart solutions for their needs, serves as a connector and communicator so the various projects run as efficiently as possible, and who is responsible for training and retrofits for new website features. This person manages activities of assigned projects from project initiation through completion with limited guidance and coordinates all technical activities. Work is typically comprised of 30% time contribution towards project leadership, and 70% as a technical contributor.

Support the associate director of web strategy in updating and executing the website roadmap. This involves reviewing the public website project roadmap, working with management and stakeholders to align on the project objectives, and determining the technical feasibility, the project phases, timing and sequencing of the various elements.
In partnership with Digital Solutions, create, monitor, and execute project plans for each specific website feature in the roadmap.
Ensure stakeholder needs are accurately documented and translated into actionable feature requirements, and user stories and journeys are captured.
Coordinate the technical UX/design process for web projects, including engaging the vendor, processing invoices, establishing deliverables and deadlines, scheduling working sessions, and gaining buy-in from stakeholders.
Partner with the engineering team to plan sprints that reflect roadmap priorities and sprint capacity. Participate in stand-ups, sprint demos, and retrospectives.
Regularly update stakeholders on the team's progress on roadmap features, website releases, and upcoming sprints.
Manage the user acceptance testing process to ensure stakeholder approval of features and website changes prior to release.
Partner with the Web Content Strategist to produce clear guidelines for new features and plan the content work necessary for effective release of features.
Gather data and create reports on KPIs to measure various aspects of the site, including user engagement, search engine optimization, accessibility, site quality, usability, and the specific impact of each feature developed to meet business needs.
Deliver a user experience that leads to high customer satisfaction and advocacy for the program.
Conduct analysis and make recommendations regarding the ongoing direction of the program or feature.
Build strong relationships and collaborate with team members, website authors, and internal stakeholders, as well as vendor partners.
Assess and track industry and technology trends. Recommend website enhancements and improvements based on findings.

Education & Experience (Required)
Bachelor's degree and minimum two years of directly related experience; or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Required)
Polished written and oral communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences.
Ability to productively contribute to cross-functional teams.
Depth of knowledge in technical discipline/domain needed to deliver projects.
Demonstrated project management ability to employ integration, scope time management, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement components.
Depth of knowledge in technical discipline/domain needed to deliver projects.
Robust experience as a project manager with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. PMP certificate is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with decision-makers across many levels of an organization.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
An ability to productively contribute to cross-functional teams.
Strong sense of accountability for one's work.
