Administrative Innovation and Technology is part of the Finance, Operations & Administration organization and manages a diverse end-to-end portfolio of technology services essential to the entire UC Davis campus including UC Davis Health. The Project Management and Business Innovation (PMBI) Education and Systems Support (ESS) unit leads and manages the primary Service Desk for financial, payroll, and human resources systems. This position provides direct support in areas of business process analysis and design, system or procedure testing and implementation, documentation, security, workflow, and customer feedback.
JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Education and Systems Support (ESS) Service Desk Manager, the Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for the processes, procedures, and operations governing support and administration of multiple systems and technologies (e.g, Oracle Financials and Enterprise Performance Management) serving Campus, Health, and ANR employees.
The Financial Systems Analyst provides analytical and problem-solving support for systems enabling operational activity for general accounting, financial reporting, accounts receivable, and equipment and asset accounting. The Analyst will participate in business stakeholder outreach, contribute to continuous process improvements, and foster awareness of and compliance with related internal standards, policies and procedures.
The incumbent will have a general/good understanding of information security, good technical skills, and strong business relationship skills.
