JOB SUMMARY
Under direction of the Assistant Vice Chancellor, this position will plan, develop and support key initiatives, recruitments and programs for UC Davis Finance. The position will collect and analyze data to inform Finance leadership on trends and communicate progress on strategic initiatives, organizational change, program and project management, customer experience and operational effectiveness across and between Finance units.

Bachelor's degree in related area and or equivalent experience training.
Extensive experience working in an executive-level office environment.
Experience using technical applications to create and manipulate documents using software such as Microsoft products including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Experience managing, tracking, and working on multiple and simultaneous complex assignments, some of which may be unfamiliar or ambiguous where no clear guidelines exist, meeting deadlines and shifting priorities.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)
High degree of operational knowledge with higher education finance and accounting departments
Analytical and conceptual skills to analyze data and situations, and identify meaningful resolution of complex problems.
Oral and written communication skills to develop reports, presentations, procedures, etc., and convey to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
