Job Description Summary
Responsible to assist with the operation troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties/facilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
May be required to train and respond to plant emergency issues within the guidelines of the PEO (Plant Emergency Operations)
Maintain service systems in support of the area of assignment
Remove and replace required equipment as scheduled to maintain Plant flow
Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
Employee may be assigned to work in one or more of the following areas with the following responsibilities:
- A/T Utilities Duties:Â
- Change out grates in the paint booth
- Pump out pits and clean the floor in the paint booth
- Clean windows and make sure the general area is clean
- The job will require pumping out sump pits with the pump truck in other locations as directed by the customer.
- Changing out the hydro bag(Paint sludge)
- This job requires interfacing with the customer on a daily basis
- Block line Utilities Duties:Â
- Work safely and carefully around equipment
- Clean out and under machines on B & C Block line.
- Have machines clean and ready for production.
- Clean Machines to insure that Operations are free of chips.
- Clean Locators and fixtures so blocks can locate correctly.
- Sweeps Chips from around machines and push chips down in the Flue or into chips bins.
- This job requires interfacing with the customer on a daily basis.
- Headline Utilities Duties:Â
- Clean out and under machines on B&C Headline.
- Pump out pits as needed.
- Clean windows and make sure the general area is clean.
- This job requires interfacing with the customer on a daily basis.
- Machine Line Lube Duties:Â
- Clean around oil tanks that are leaking and notify maintenance personnel
- Tracking the amount of oil that is put in each machine.
- Making sure the entire route is complete before the lines start up
- Communicate to fluid management on a daily basis, the amounts of oils and fluids used each day.
- Must have a valid NC driverâ™s license.
- Must be able to lift 35lb.
- Wood Utilities Duties:Â
- Gather wooden boxes and pallets on the South Pad from throughout the Plant
- Clean trash out of boxes before loading into truck trailer
- Load wood waste into trailer using fork lift
- Crush the wood and maintain correct waste wood weight in the trailer
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Keep South Pad clear of buildup of boxes and pallets
- Keep South Pad organized per the drawing
- Keep trash picked up around entire South Pad
- Complete PM and Lube on crusher equipment
- Systems Support:
- CGD Hardware/Software troubleshooting
- Network connectivity troubleshooting (IP Configuration)
- System Imaging and Roll out
- Install System Updates and Patches on Non CGDs
- Maintain Antivirus Server (Symantec)
- PBX, Voicemail, Landline Support
- Non CGD Shop floor Computer Support
- Verify shop floor machines are checking in with the Symantec Server
- Cell Phone support
- Modifying/Updating/Creating Procedures for Non CGD and Landline phones
NON ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must maintain positive customer and employee relationships (communications with all)
- Respond to customer calls.
- Accurate and timely administrative duties to include log sheets for customer records
REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education and/or Experience):
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Employee must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and have the ability to communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
A valid driverâ™s license is required to obtain a Customer Mobile Equipment License.
- Able to operate a folk lift
- Able to operate man-lifts
