Senior Surveyor - Commercial Valuations

Job Description Summary

Cushman and Wakefield's South West & Wales Valuation & Advisory team is looking for a Surveyor / Senior Surveyor to join us.
The team advises on a range of sectors including offices, industrial and retail. We have a varied client base which includes lending institutions, quoted property companies, port authorities and numerous private, high wealth individuals. The team also provides advice to a number of local and central government entities.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Work on a mix of loan security and regulated purpose valuations for a wide variety of clients
• Prepare periodic fund valuation updates in support of our many UK wide mandates.
• To prepare valuation reports, in various formats
• Be able to take day to day responsibility for execution of instructions under minimum supervision
• Start to build contacts and develop a profile in the Bristol / South West marketplace to attract new business and develop your career
• To promote the Cushman & Wakefield brand and our service line to existing and prospective clients

Knowledge and experience:

• MRICS qualified
• RICS Registered Valuer
• Approximately 1-3 years post professional qualification
• Commercial valuation experience, preferably Bristol and South West focussed
• Familiar with Argus Enterprise valuation software
• Analytical skills to be able to draw out market trends and information
• Excellent written English and report writing skills
• Competent in Excel and Word
• Able to build client relationships and create new business

The team operates from Bristol but also across the wider South West and South Wales markets.  This is a fantastic opportunity for an MRICS qualified surveyor, with 1-3 years post qualification experience to join a leading real estate advisory team, operating in a fast paced and dynamic market
