The Director of Airport Security will lead and direct the units of the Airport Security section at Denver International Airport and report to the Senior Director of Airport Operations. The units consist of Compliance and Enforcement and Badging and Permitting. The Compliance and Enforcement unit is responsible for administration of the Airport Security Program, management of numerous security guard contracts, completion of regulatory audits, and oversight of security violation processes. The Badging and Permitting unit handles the credentialling process for DEN’s 40,000+ badgeholders including background checks and adjudication, security training, and vehicle permitting procedures.
