Whatâ™s The Job?

• Title:   Scaffolding Insulation Technician

• Location:  Dayton Ohio

• Salary:  Up to $28 per hour depending on experience

• Hours:  Mon-Thurs-7a-530p

What Will I Be Doing?  

Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:  

• Must be able to work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment. âœSafety First❠expectations include, but are not limited to, PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all company / site safety guidelines and procedures. 

• Installation, Maintenance, and Repair to be performed in conformance with established quality standards. 

• Assist in formulating preventive maintenance standards / work procedures while performing those duties and provide work order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery. 

• Must have working knowledge of all hand / power tools to perform metal layouts of all types, use math facts and charts, and be able to apply knowledge to perform all insulation functions. 

• Works from elevated areas such as ladders, platforms, scaffolding, etc. utilizing fall protection equipment as necessary to complete tasks. 

• Must have the flexibility to work all shifts including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job. Must maintain a consistent and good attendance record in accordance with Company policy 

• Employee will perform any and all other duties that are assigned by the responsible supervisor. 

• Compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures. 

• Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals to include employee development planning. 

• Communicates with all team members to assist the development of short- and long-range planning in assist of the companyâ™s goals and objectives 

• Maintain personal tools required for your job. Meet physical requirements of the job. 

• Perform assigned tasks in a safety, effective, and efficient manner. 

• Accurate and timely administrative duties to include, but not limited to, time accounting and work order completion. 

• Must maintain positive customer and employee relations 

What Makes Me Qualified?   

• Experience: 2 years associated procedural experience / data entry 

• Certifications: OSHA approved Scaffold building certification. 

What are the physical demands of the role?

• Control Precision â” The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions.  

• Manual Dexterity â” The ability to quickly grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.  

• Substantial lifting (up to 50 pounds) is required  

• Ability to move for extended or continuous periods of time  

• Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools  

• Ability to operate applicable hand tools, power tools, and equipment  

• Ability to operate forklifts or other vehicles in a safe manner   

• Ability to wear a respirator while performing job duties 

• Communication/ Expression â”The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.  

• Information Ordering â” The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations).
