A postdoctoral associate/fellow position is available in the Department of Neuroscience at Brown University. Under the mentorship of Dr. Anne Hart, the fellow primarily would focus on understanding the mechanisms underlying Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and Frontotemporal Dementia, primarily using genetic and molecular approaches in C. elegans knock-in models. The fellow would also participate in collaborative studies to move results from C. elegans into other model systems and to address neurodegenerative mechanisms at the cellular and biochemical level.This position in the Hart Laboratory provides the opportunity to join the collaborative scientists in the Brown community focused on understanding th
