Sacramento Country Day School, the leading independent school in Sacramento and throughout the region, seeks a Lower School French Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. This position will include teaching students beginning in kindergarten and continuing through fifth grade. Candidates will also be prepared to integrate themselves into the life of the school, including, but not limited to, various assigned duties and special school events. This is a full-time position with 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision premiums (employee only), beginning August 16, 2026. The annual salary range is $52,000 - $96,000, depending on education and experience.

About the school:
Country Day enrolls about 600 students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. The Lower School serves roughly 275 students in Grades PreK - 5th. Lower School students are inspired and supported by approximately forty faculty and staff members, who are all focused on the academic, emotional, and social growth of their students. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; graduate degrees preferred.
