Sun Valley Community School is seeking a dynamic Physical Education Co-Teacher for students in grades K-8. This is a full-time position with benefits, beginning August 10, 2026.

Ability to collaborate with colleagues
Effective positive communication with students and families
Curriculum design and assessment experience
Ability to receive feedback
Have a deep understanding of the developmental breadth found in K-8 students
Be an organized, creative individual who motivates and inspires students to achieve their personal best
Practices thoughtful, respectful, and effective classroom management techniques, which support active learning and promote responsibility and self-management
Is versed in current trends on pedagogical methodology
Values outdoor education and will participate in multi-day field/camping trips as part of our Outdoor Program
