• Prepare, dispense, and compound medications in line with policy and regulatory guidelines.
• Validate and verify prescriber orders for accuracy, dose, route, frequency, duration, indication, and potential contraindications. Monitor for allergies, drug-drug/food/disease interactions, adverse reactions, and appropriate utilization.
• Review patient medication profiles, consult with medical/nursing staff, and provide guidance on optimizing therapy.

• Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, driving an automobile, etc.
