The Department of Radiology at Stanford University Medical Center has two Cardiovascular Imaging (CVI) Fellowship positions open from July 2027 to June 2028. This fellowship offers comprehensive and in-depth clinical training for radiologists who desire to gain advanced competency CT and MR imaging of cardiac and vascular diseases. Fellows are exposed to a broad range of studies, including coronary CT angiography, CT planning for various transcatheter valve replacement, CTA for complex aortic endovascular and surgical repairs, MRI for ischemic and nonischemic cardiomyopathies, quantitative and qualitative stress perfusion MRI, and hemodynamic studies for valvular and congenital heart disease. The CVI service is supported by state-of-the-art equipment from diverse manufacturers and post-processing services, for example photon-counting CTs, 4D-Flow MRI, advanced CT planning for structural heart interventions including for transcather tricuspid and mitral interventions, advanced 3 and 4D reconstruction techniques and 3D-printing. Fellows are taught by experienced clinical and research faculty well-known in the field. Up to 12 weeks of the fellowship can be allocated for research activities or training in other radiology subspecialities. Fellowship applicants must be board certified or board eligible in radiology and qualify for medical licensure in California.
