The Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences invites applications for one 12-month faculty position as a Tenure-Track Assistant/Associate Professor or Assistant/Associate Professor of Professional Practice (non-tenure) for the developing entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) Program at Texas Christian University (TCU).
Tenure-Track Faculty Qualifications: Successful applicants will have strong written and interpersonal communication skills, the ability to maintain an active research/scholarship agenda (including extramural funding) and teaching proficiency within their area of expertise supporting the developing entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) Program at Texas Christian University (TCU). Professional Practice Track Faculty Qualifications: Successful applicants will have strong written and interpersonal communication skills and teaching proficiency within their area of expertise in support of the developing entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) Program at Texas Christian University (TCU).
Other responsibilities include advising and mentoring graduate students and contributing to university and community service in alignment with institutional missions.
Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure as an occupational therapist in the State of Texas and have earned a Doctoral degree (OTD, PhD, EdD or equivalent) with three years clinical experience preferred. Those with advanced clinical credentialing/expertise (E.g., geriatrics, neuro-rehabilitation, hand therapy, etc.) are especially encouraged to apply. Salary and rank will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. The Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences consists of programs that prepare future health care and human services professionals.
