Mount Saint Mary's University seeks a Donor Relations and Stewardship Manager to manage stewardship and recognition efforts that strengthen donor engagement across all giving initiatives. As a key member of Institutional Advancement, this position ensures donors feel valued, informed, and connected to the University's mission through meaningful communications, impact reporting, events, and personalized engagement. By supporting donor retention, fulfillment of stewardship commitments, and long-term relationship building, this role helps advance sustainable philanthropic growth and maximize the impact of the University's fundraising efforts. This is a part-time and non-benefits eligible position.
Work Location: Doheny Campus (Downtown Los Angeles). Hybrid work schedule available.

Hiring salary can be above the posted pay range if candidate's qualifications are determined to be above the minimum requirements of the position description.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Stewardship Program Support: a. Support the execution of stewardship and recognition programs for giving societies, including the Brady Leadership Society, Athenian Circle, Le Puy Society, Scholarship Society, and Heritage Society, as well as other constituent groups as needed b. Maintain accurate giving society rosters and related donor records c. Coordinate fulfillment of donor benefits and recognition in partnership with the Individual Giving and Advancement Services teams to ensure timely, consistent, and meaningful donor engagement d. Assist in managing the annual Stewardship Calendar in collaboration with Institutional Advancement colleagues to support coordinated outreach and donor retention efforts 2. Donor & Gift Agreement Tracking: a. Record, track, and fulfill donor benefits outlined in gift agreements b. Maintain accurate stewardship documentation and donor records in the Blackbaud Raiser's Edge database to support accountability, continuity, and effective relationship management 3. Stewardship Events Support: a. Partner with the Special Events team to support stewardship events that strengthen donor engagement and recognition b. Generate invitation lists and manage registration tracking, including guest responses and accommodation requests c. Maintain stewardship event data in Raiser's Edge to support accurate follow-up and reporting d. Coordinate sponsor benefit fulfillment, including table assignments, guest lists, name and logo recognition, and event-related amenities e. Assist with guest management and event check-in, as needed f. Serve as a point of contact for event honorees to collect bios, headshots, and logos for event materials 4. Additional Duties: a. Performs other related job duties as assigned. The University reserves the right to modify or expand responsibilities as needed
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Events Support:
The Donor Relations and Stewardship Manager is expected to attend occasional off-campus stewardship events, which may occur outside of regular working hours, and other events as needed
Job Requirements: Knowledge:
Experience in education, non-profit, membership, project management, events, or hospitality preferred
Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge or similar CRM/database system strongly preferred
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
Proficiency in Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) or Canva preferred
Abilities and Skills:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum of two years of experience (five years preferred)
Experience and education may be combined as a substitute for minimum education/ experience
