Sutter North Medical Group (SNMG) seeks to hire a BE/BC Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support a collaborative Gastroenterology practice in Yuba City, CA.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Gastroenterology (GI) team. This provider will work collaboratively with board-certified Gastroenterologists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across the continuum of gastrointestinal health. This role offers a strong mix of autonomy and physician support within a collegial, team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions
Conduct outpatient clinic visits including new consults, follow-ups, and post-procedure care
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, endoscopy reports)
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with GI physicians
Provide patient education on diagnoses, procedures, medications, and lifestyle modifications
Participate in care coordination with primary care providers and specialists
Document clinical encounters accurately and timely in Epic
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Active (or ability to obtain) CA NP or PA license
Board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
GI experience preferred, but motivated candidates with strong internal medicine or specialty backgrounds will be considered
