JOB SUMMARY:

The Education Instructor Radiology plans, designs, implements, coordinates, and evaluates educational programs and activities for designated departments based upon identified needs for the Radiography Program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:

Masters and Bachelors Degree Required;

Holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification and registration in radiography:

Holds current Licensure by Texas Department of State Health services (MRT).

Work Experience: Document two (2) years of full time experience in radiography.

Advanced Education:

Advance Training Specialty: One (1) year as a Joint Review Committee of Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) approved instructor preferred. Advanced certification training in Cat Scan and/or MRI.

Work Schedule: Flexible

Other Requirements:

Member of American Society of Radiologic technologist (ASRT) and/or Texas State Radiologic Technology (TSRT); staff development and training.

American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration in one advanced certification preferred - CT or MRI.
