Lake Chelan Health in beautiful Central Washington is seeking a growth minded CFO.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a vital member of the executive leadership team and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This executive role provides strategic financial leadership and is responsible for the overall financial operations of the hospital. The position is responsible for the administrative management of accounting and the revenue cycle of the hospital district The CFO serves as a key advisor to the CEO, offering insight and guidance on financial planning, budgeting, and sustainability while ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
Serves as a member of the executive leadership team.
Serves as the financial liaison to the Finance Committee, Investment Committee, and with the boards of commissioners.
Oversight and development of accounting policies and procedures, and reporting formats.
Oversee the development of the guidelines for the preparation of the annual budget and long range financial forecasts for Lake Chelan Health. Oversee capital planning projections and financing arrangements.
Primary responsibility for negotiation of contracts with insurance carriers.
Primary responsibility for oversight of Lake Chelan Health property and liability insurance coverage. •
Participates in strategic planning, financial planning and business development for Lake Chelan Health.
Lake Chelan Health is an independent Washington Public Hospital District located in beautiful Lake Chelan. The Hospital consists of a 9 bed ED, 12 inpatient beds staffed by physician hospitalists, and a labor and a delivery team. General surgery on call coverage 24/7, part time orthopedic services, and telehealth specialties including cardiology, infectious diseases, pulmonology/critical care, and nephrology.
Outpatient services include primary care, Cardiology, ENT, dermatology, orthopedics, general surgery, and pediatrics. Our hospital district also includes a nationally recognized EMS team providing community paramedicine, community health workers, and regional transports.
