East Texas A&M University is seeking a full time Athletic Trainer for the supervision/management of Women's Basketball & Cross-Country teams. This staff member will coordinate the care of Women's Basketball daily practices & events including practice coverage, travel & event coverage. Daily treatments/evaluation/rehabilitation/injury prevention, acute management and critical incident management. Communication with Team Physicians, Sports Performance coaches, dieticians, Coaches and administrators. Healthcare administrative tasks as well as daily documentation of student athlete care, as well as other duties assigned by Healthcare Administrator. East Texas A&M University is a member of the Southland Conference, with 14 sports competing at the Division 1 level.

• Master's Degree required
• BOC Certification & Credential required
• Texas State Licensure or eligibility to apply for Texas State licensure required
• CPR/AED & First Aid Certification required
• Ability to multitask within a competitive environment
• Proficient communication skills and ability to contribute to holistic medical model including various team physicians, physical therapy, dietician, student health services, student disability services, counseling center, sports performance coaches, coaches and administrators
• Ability to lift 50-75lbs and assist in moving/caring for student athletes injuries
• Ability to travel, including some weekends and evening events
• Adhere to all National, State, University/System standards and best practices
