JOB SUMMARY

This position is a Hybrid role based in Dallas, Texas, and supports a product team focused on digital products and services. Candidates with experience in healthcare, finance, or government environments are preferred. 

In this role, you will be a driving force behind shaping the user experience and innovation landscape for our digital products and services. As a principal-level UX Researcher, you will provide visionary leadership in creating and implementing user-centered solutions that redefine industry standards. Your responsibilities will encompass leading and mentoring a team of researchers and designers while collaborating at a strategic level to align research outcomes with business goals. Your proven expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies will lead to the generation of transformative insights that guide our product direction. This role requires a strong record of influencing and advocating for user-centric design, making you an essential contributor to our commitment to delivering unparalleled user satisfaction.

Possess an expert-level understanding of the healthcare industry, leveraging deep insights to inform research strategies.

Evangelize and institutionalize user-centered design principles and practices, impacting the organization's culture.

Mentor and shape the growth of researchers, fostering excellence and thought leadership in UX research.

Stay ahead of the curve by pioneering new UX research methodologies and tools, elevating research outcomes.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

Possess and push for deep customer empathy and curiosity, continually seeking to understand users/patients to uncover various insights.

Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field like Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related discipline.

Showcase a successful career track marked by transformative UX research contributions, boasting an extensive portfolio showcasing your ability to redefine product design and strategy through research-led insights.

Exhibit mastery across the entire spectrum of qualitative and quantitative research methods, seamlessly utilizing interviews, surveys, usability testing, card sorting, heuristic evaluations, and more.

Expertly distill vast amounts of research data into strategic insights that guide high-level product and design strategies, aligning them with overarching goals.

Expertise in articulating research findings and conveying complex concepts effectively to audiences spanning technical and non-technical realms.

Possess a thorough understanding of UX design principles, shaping them with a grasp of how research catalyzes and directs business and experience decisions.

Leverage your extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry, channeling trends, patient engagement, and regulations into innovative research approaches.

Display mastery in advanced UX research tools and software, harnessing their capabilities to drive profound insights via platforms like UserTesting.com, Qualtrics, and others.
