Benefis Health System is seeking an outpatient Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our growing behavioral health team. This position offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license, providing comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation and consultation across a broad range of patient populations. The ideal candidate is a collaborative clinician with strong diagnostic skills, a commitment to evidence-based practice, and an interest in working within an interdisciplinary medical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a close-knit team of colleagues including 7 psychologists (three clinical psychologists, one health psychologist, one pediatric neuropsychologist, two adult-focused neuropsychologists), two psychometrists, LCPC and LCSW counselors, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and psychiatrists; with opportunity to engage in weekly interdisciplinary case consultations
- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations; providing clear, diagnostic impressions and actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with neurology, psychiatry, primary care, and other teams within the Benefis system, as well as from existing referral sources from across our extensive catchment area
- Provide feedback to patients and families in a compassionate, understandable manner
- Contribute to treatment planning and care coordination
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Opportunity to carry a small therapy caseload, if desired
Qualifications
- Doctoral PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program
- Completion of a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology
- Eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in the state of Montana
- Strong skills in neuropsychological assessment, differential diagnosis, and report writing
- Board certified or eligible for board certification through the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABCN), a specialty board of the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).
