The Austin Institute of Dental Medicine (AIDM) is seeking a full-time AEGD Clinic Director / Open Rank Faculty member to join its Advanced Dental Education in General Dentistry (12-month) program, which is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and has been granted the accreditation status of “initial accreditation.” The position is based within a modern, interdisciplinary academic dental center in Austin, Texas.

The AEGD Clinic Director will play an important role in resident education, clinical supervision, curriculum implementation, and the continued growth of the comprehensive care service within the Institute. Faculty rank and academic appointment will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

AIDM is an integrated postgraduate dental training center with specialty and advanced education programs designed around interdisciplinary care, modern digital workflows, and strong clinical exposure. Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor AEGD residents in clinical care and treatment planning
• Participate in resident education, seminars, and interdisciplinary treatment discussions
• Assist with clinic operations and workflow oversight
• Support curriculum development and resident evaluation
• Collaborate with faculty across specialties in comprehensive patient care
• Contribute to the academic mission and continued development of the program

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent
• Completion of an advanced training program (AEGD, GPR, or specialty training preferred)
