Position description The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in the Samueli School of Engineering is currently accepting applications for a part-time lecturer for the Fall quarter 2026 to teach CBE 145 (Chemical Process Control). Curriculum areas include dynamic responses and control of chemical process equipment, dynamic modeling of chemical processes, linear system analysis, analyses and design of feedback loops and advanced control systems.
Requirements: Applicants should have a B.S. or M.S. in chemical engineering or a related field from an accredited university. Relevant industrial experience and/or effective teaching experience is preferred.
The salary range listed ($70,977-$77,561) reflects the full-time UC salary scales, with minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. As this is a part-time lecturer position, compensation will be prorated accordingly
