Get to Know Your Team:
Lovelace Westside Hospital provides care to Albuquerque?s Westside and Rio Rancho. It is home to a 24-hour emergency department, where patients can see a provider in about 30 minutes or less. It offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical capabilities, such as ENT, bariatric, and orthopedic service lines.
Responsibilities
The overall responsibility of the Materials Tech III is to coordinate and assist with the daily inventory management and control of procedural area supplies.
Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Additionally, this role includes the use of analytic tools to accurately capture spend and utilization data (Lawson, Epic, Excel) in support of inventory control and management.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Two (2) years of related experience, of which one (1) year must have been in Materials Management or Clinical Area.
Preferred Job Requirements:
RP system, such as Lawson, experience.
Warehouse organization and operational experience.
Knowledge of Epic decremented inventory.
Understanding of operating room products and their uses.
Knowledge of PO pricing and GL interaction.
Computer literacy to include MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
Ability to analyze and interpret data and take action.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to act independently by managing multiple priorities, projects, and tasks.
